The Goalie Training Institute was built with the purpose of developing goaltenders and supporting them through their hockey careers. Each Goalie Training Institute coach looks to exceed client expectations by building personal relationships, developing individual learning plans, and becoming mentors for every athlete to ensure success on and off the ice.
BRAD FOGAL

With 25 years of coaching experience, Brad’s knowledge and experience has played an integral part in creating GTI’s curriculum and core fundamentals.
GTI’s growth and success has been a dream come true for Brad and a result of years of dedication to his students, families, teams and his unrelenting pursuit of self development to provide the most complete, well-rounded programs and training.
Brad started his coaching journey at a young age, even before he started playing junior and continued that while he played his way though junior, college (NCAA) and pro. Working with young goalies from the York Region area as well as other junior and up-and-coming college goalies. Before teaming up with Aaron to start GTI, Brad owned and operated a training centre in Kingston, Ontario.
Brad’s playing career saw him play in the PJHL (Georgina Ice), OJHL (Huntsville Otters, Newmarket Hurricanes, Pickering Panthers). Brad then went on to the NCAA with the inaugural Adrian College Bulldogs team, where he broke many NCAA records including being the winningest goalie in DIII history with a 93-11-2 record, as well as 2 NCAA Tournament appearances and a Frozen Four Finals in his senior year. After a very successful NCAA career, Brad played professionally in the CHL, ECHL and AHL.
While at Adrian College, Brad studied Exercise Science, Athletic Training and Education. It was Brad’s hope that one day his knowledge would allow him to become a full time goaltending coach, providing the most comprehensive development to his students.

AARON GREEN

With more than 20 years of coaching experience, Aaron’s knowledge and extensive understanding of the position has allowed him to specialize in goaltender development for GTI.
Owning and operating an elite goalie development program has been a dream come true. Growing up, goalie training was not always accessible. Aaron believes every goalie deserves access to quality development and clear guidance. GTI was built to support goalies, parents, and coaches with expert instruction, real development tools, and a clear path forward, no matter where goalies are in their hockey journeys.
Aaron started his coaching journey at a young age, studying under Mike Rosati (Goaltending Consultant, Las Vegas Golden Knights). This is where Aaron truly found his passion for coaching and developing young goaltenders. Over the years, Aaron has developed his craft and takes pride in constant attention to detail and cutting edge modern techniques.
Aaron’s playing career saw him play in the PJHL (Schomberg Cougars), OJHL (Collingwood Blues, Seguin Bruins, Stouffville Spirit, St. Michael’s Buzzers). After a successful junior career, Aaron went on to the NCAA with the Brockport Golden Eagles, where he still holds numerous school records.
